Can anyone here tell me how to turn on the radio? I read the manual but there is no simple answer.

There is a Power button "PWR" on the dashboard to the right of the shift lever and the Park button. Alternatively, you can do it by pushing the "MODE" button on the steering wheel.

You can also hit the "FM" button if you wanted to listen to FM radio (or "AM" button for AM radio).

Thanks StevO for your clear answer. I couldn't find that anywhere in the manual.
    Thanks so much.

Well, most car stereos use the volume button as the power button too.

And on the Prius you can actually press the Volume control, but it just drops out of sight. :)

Inserting a CD will also power it up.

I find that cars with steering wheel controls use the volume up/down buttons as "un-mute" but not power cycle.
