How wide are the body moldings? HELP

    I'm trying to set things up for my body moldings.... (they're on the UPS Truck on the way sometime today). How wide are they? If I knew, I could accommodate putting them on top of the tape rather than underneath per the manufacturer's instructions. (I intend to set them on magnets and painters tape so I need to know the exact placement.) Thanks in advance for measuring the width of your installed moldings.

    I just measured mine..... 1.25 inches.

    It will look just as if it came with it from the factory.
