    Courtesy of our colleagues at Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan, check out the Hybrid Synergy Drive "Virtual Drive" simulator. Take a drive through the beautiful city of Kyoto while trying to maximize your efficiency.

    All player scores are captured and ranked globally, so you can talk smack about your hypermiling ability! :rockon:

    (In full disclosure, it's not SUPER realistic, but it should provide a few minutes of entertainment. Hope you enjoy.)

    You need to get the kids hooked on this. Nintendo, Xbox, Playstation, etc. game consuls. Once the kids get hooked on it, the parents - out of curiosity - naturally become hooked too. :)

    I wonder how shonky this game is, you aren't even on my chart floppyarms!

    I just played a second time and entered a different name and location. My first game score wasn't there any more. I suspect the score card is a fake.

    Yes, we did notice Toyota!

    Oh balls. I got 860+ (cant remember) but may have been knocked off by now? I cant see a way of viewing the leader board without playing the game again.

    Shant loose much sleep if i'm not right up there. :)

    ok ok, did it again and got 834 which is 10th place but i DO SEE u. still in 3rd.

    Blah I only got 12th place (811 points) on my first attempt.

    Wish there was a way to tell how far to the stop areas... for example on the 4th map, Was cruising down the highway, and it suddenly turned into a cliff saying stop NOW.

    I'd totally win this in real life :/ I guess I need more practice in this simulation.

    Edit:
    I'm now rank 2 on my 2nd attempt. (917 point)
    I'd probably be 1st if I would stop over-running the red lines. Also, I need a scangauge :p

    Yes that last one was a real pain. Gown down the off ramp during the day in the city and BAM its night and your heading toward a cliff. Wth?

    I check the scores again and I'm not listed anywhere on there. Did they get reset? Or are the score board just a bunch of crap?

    My best is 925 by the way.
