how did I get this much? And I only noticed it on a stop light when I was switching through the menus so I don't exactly know how long I've been doing this much and for how long / how many miles?

    Any thoughts?

That's only over 8.4 miles. Yawn.

    lol.
any ideas how I can get more miles with that fuel economy?
I've been trying to repeat it on the same road but I can't. Even when I brake slowly behind 2 car lengths.
    argh! it's challenging!

Always drive with the engine fully warmed up, and plan every route to be downhill both ways.

If the displayed MPG number ever gets too low for your taste, just reset it again, preferably at the top of a hill and with the engine warm.

Our best displayed mileage is when we tank up and reset the trip meter, fully warmed, eastbound at the west end of Barnett Highway. Pull out and basically roll downhill, for about 2 km's, then another 4 or 5 kms of easy highway, with an 80 kmh limit.

On my Gen 4 starting with the engine off, I get 199.9 mpg. I think your display tops out at 99.9
