After a Hybrid battery replacement by Dealer, lost some Nav. functions. Namely no voice responce & no ability to increase or decrease zoom scale on screen. Any Ideas, have not gone back to Dealer yet.

The dealer might need to reinstall the nav software as it might have gotten corrupted. That's just a guess on my part.

DVD based nav, electrical gremlins, even with a new Hybrid battery are usually caused by a dying 12v battery, I'd disconnect the negative lead for a minute and see how it reacts, I'd also see how it rates when unused for 12 hours.

12V normal Battery replaced last year. When you say disconnect negative lead, you mean negative lead on 12V, right ?. 12 hour test is leave 12V negative lead disconnected for 12 hours right ?

You are correct that the disconnecting the negative lead means removing the negative lead at the battery. As for the 12 hour test, that means to reconnect the negative lead and then test the battery voltage after the car being unused for 12 hours, like overnight. It should be greater than 12.2V for a good battery.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try both and see what happens. If it doesn't solve the problem, I'll have the Dealer update the Nav DVD next. THANKS
