Yep, Toyota does that in the shorter races, and now, it bit them in the a$$ again.

I briefly saw part of the accident but no details. After the race, there will be plenty of U-tube shorts available.

Basically, the #32 Lotus cut the Toyota off and they both went into the crash barrier.

I've been watching the Audi diesels ever since they first started racing them and Audi never enters just one car in a race. That's one reason they keep winning the manufacturer's championship. Oh, well.

I saw both cars go into the barrier but the cameras focused on the Toyota. The driver tried to get it to roll but from the camber angle of the right front tire, it didn't look good. I think he made it about 20 meters before the debris and possibly internal problems made it impossible.

The driver just couldn't get the Toyota to face in the right direction to get it to the pits. The crew was preparing to try and get it back into the race. The crash is still under investigation. Rebellion racing has a Toyota engine in it, but it's no match to the Audis.

Saw something you don't see every day. After a tire change, the wheel of the #2 Audi came off, hit the wall, bounced back and landed on the back of the car, where it sat until the car made it back to the pits.
