I don't have jack stands so I can't look myself... suspension question.

    I would like to know if the Gen2 prius came with a stiffening plate across the muffler, stock from the factory?

    Therefore the BT Stiffening plate is an aftermarket enhancement because the stock one is flimsy.

    Or there is no plate at all from the factory, but bolt-on holes in case you purchased the Touring edition of the Prius... which I did not.

    I am having a hard time finding a Stiffening plate. Anyone know where to purchase? Or more specific keywords to search for? Chassis Brace? G7 Performance Brace?
    Last, your two cents if you did this mod(?) performance wise - less body flex?

    I installed one on my 2007 Prius and thought it made it better when cornering. It was very easy to install, assuming you can put the car up enough to get under the middle of it.

    I sent you a PM about a spare one I have that I'd be willing to sell you.
