please advice me on what course of action I should take.

I’ve placed with a automotive place that does hybrid cars.

    Is it worth fixing it.

I don’t have any diagnosis yet.

What do you think is wrong with it?

It's always good to find out what the warning lights mean soon as they come on... Waiting till the car dies entirely turns less expensive repairs into more expensive. Any auto parts store can plug into your car and read the error code / red triangle... You can also buy an OBD2 reader for $20 that allows you to use your phone to read codes/diagnose your problem. Learn more here about which one to buy: Hybrid battery diagnostic and repair tool for Toyota and Lexus That's the least expensive way to get started. Other option is to get it towed to a mechanic with Prius Hybrid experience (stay away from the con-games they play at Toyota dealerships) even though even a reasonable mechanic might not look much further than the mileage on the car to tell you you're done with it. But maybe you'll get lucky and have an easy fix? :)

Thank you for being very informative. I should have immediately had it checked. It’s a lesson learned.

I hope my mechanic doesn’t discriminate my car because of its high mileage looooooool.

The hypo took it to has high google review and I’ve spoken to him over the phone and the guy is super nice.

He will let me know what is the matter with it but I suspect it’s the battery
