Dad and I switched the motor and engine.

The red trinangle and check shone light show up.

Is there anyway tech stream can reset them?

You can simply unplug the 12v battery to reset or clear codes with techstream.

If there's an error, those lights will return

It can reset any code, afaik. Obviously, the code will pop right back up if the problem isn't fixed, but I'm pretty sure it will reset.

BTW, the car only has one engine, so that's easy to decipher. But it has two motors. Did you replace MG1 or MG2? Must have been some serious problems!

    We replaced the engine/tranny component.

How does one reset the code within the program?

So all I do is unplug the 12v battery for 10 seconds and reconnect it to clear the codes?

The light still turns on. As a matter of fact, the red triangle and the check engine light is on AND the car won't go into drive or reverse at all now haha.

Anyway to at least get it into drive or reverse? I remember we had this error once with another vehicle and we had apparently reconnected some cabled in a wrong order.

Check your 12v battery voltage, make sure it's over 12.5-volts

not sure, but a volt meter when the battery is cold should read at least 12.4 v.

Probably the orange hybrid battery safety interlock is not installed or the handle has not been locked down,
I assume you removed it when u swapped the tranny?

It's in the drivers side of the hybrid battery pack. It's orange.

Did u remove it before the trans swap?

If u did and replaced it everyone always messes up the last step which is to slide the handle up then down to lock it in place.
Car is disabled if that safety swx is not installed right.

Too late, we ended up putting the old tranny back and the car works now. Weird.

Yeah my dad'a a beast, did it in less than 3 hours.

I guess the new tranny we bought with 70k had some problems. Oh well, maybe next time it'll work.

But the reason you replaced it was because it's bad? Now you stuck it back in? Your dad must love working on cars
