I just went for a drive around the outskirts of town.

    I've had my Prius for just under a week now, and I'm loving it! I had the urge to cruise around tonight and even took some back roads through hilly terrain to get used to my car's handling. I loved crossing the spillway road by the lake - which is over a mile long - since there was no traffic on it and I could go for maximum efficiency...

    Did I say that I love this freakin' car?

    BTW, I accomplished my first "stealth surprise" when I pulled up behind one of my neighbors who was just getting out of her car on the side of the street; she jumped when she saw me coming despite the fact I wasn't that close to her. :D

    The best way to get used to the car is to drive it around and feel out the limits. It does restore the fun of driving. May you have many years of happiness with the car.
