This maybe my last repair with UScan Bosch Corp Board of Directors voted to force an app upgrade that has ruined the live data function. Tech stream here I come.

I pulled over, reset the codes, drove home the “Problem” triangle returned mile 2, The HV battery stayed on 1 bar for the 6 miles and the engine was doing all the work. When breaking I was feeling a 3 Hz pulsing?

I’m so excited I get to do one more repair before 500,000miles. I’ll show you what I find

Heat may have contributed but the Bank 11 code revealed a poor performing cell I swapped out this morning. 108 F I should have spent time to find some shade.

You seem to be one of the few on Prius Chat that gets excited because his Prius breaks down. :)

The way I like to think of it is I always learn something new. This is OK if you have another car to drive.

Does it have the utility section to register new TPMS sensors?

That’s not a function of the J2534 protocol harness, but that of the Techstream version ;).

I tried version 12.01.024 and it didn’t have the utility menus:(.

I had version 10.30.028 and it did :).

So I went back a couple of versions (y).

I took your advice Ray and bought the earlier version but never got it loaded on my old Xp laptop, maybe I will mess with it when things slow down this winter.

So, which is the best option to gain the "smart access" to generate the 96 character code to be able to program used key fobs on gen 2 prius? I have mini vci and version 13 and 10 but can't seem to do it. I've been told version 7 will do it with the mini vci but can't seem to find where to download it. Thanks
Car: 2008 and 2009 prius both smart key
