Today I saw Regular Gas Prices ranging from $2.29 to $2.58, and Diesel prices ranging from $2.68 to $2.99.

But, I saw something I had never seen before.

The folks who were selling Diesel for $2.99 had a new twist - it was PREMIUM DIESEL.

You just knew it would come to that eventually :) I wonder what the selling point will be.

Premium Diesel has been around for a while in the marine market. Our marina only sells premium diesel, and I believe that is a state requirement in Michigan (so I've been told, but I'm not sure). Our premium diesel is a low sulfur blend that burns cleaner, but unfortunately provides less power.
