    The 1959 movie adaptation included giant mushrooms among its flights of fancy. Don't recall if that was in the book.

    Readers may be aware of carbon-storage (the largest operating) facility near Reykjavik. I wonder how things are going there. Lots of underground pipes for earthquakes to 'modify'.
