Been reading on various methods to improve my overall MPG and I have seen various mentions of IGN-16. I have searched allover and cannot for the life of me figure out what people mean by this. Any kinda of help would be awesome.

Never seen that word mentioned in 10 years on this site. Or anywhere else.

    Show me the reference.

The Scangauge II has an IGN xgauge for the Gen 2. It use mimics the warm up stages I think.

Could've sworn that I responded to this already. Anyways do you know of any apps that provide this?

IGN is just ignition advance value displayed in scangauge 2 (or any other device).

IGN value 16 gives you good efficiency and can be used kind of like cruise control on long flat low traffic road (you use your feet to keep the IGN at 16 and your speed will warry). I have tried that but came to a conclusion that there isn’t any roads long and flat enough around here to use it.
