ignition switched power by electrochromic mirror

    2004 JBL/Nav prius: I almost gave up on finding ignition switched power by my electrochromic mirror for my dashcam, but finally found it. The strange thing that I wasn't expecting was that it was the black wire that was the switched +12V; usually black means ground.

    The wires seem to be:
    Red: +12V regardless of ignition
    White: ground
    Black: +12V ignition switched

    I tried literally all the solder points and connector points on the front overhead light/sunglasscase assembly and didn't find any ignition switched power there, so if you don't have the electrochromic (auto dimming) mirror you are probably out of luck up there, although 12V unswitched is available.
