Apparently, ICE-ing is now a thing done on purpose like coal-rolling.

It's one thing to post helpful six-step guides on how to respond, but it seems like maybe the sort of problem that would benefit from reducing the effort of reporting as far as possible.

Maybe Tesla could OTA an update to their cars, where you could give a quick voice command and the car would use its cameras to get images of the ICE-ing vehicle, and upload them along with time and location to a clearinghouse that would get them immediately to the management of the private-property charging station or to the right local enforcement authorities....

So far I have been iced by 2 prii and a camry. Not that I really needed the charge, just trying them out. I was hoping that first prius icing was an accident, but the next time a charger was iced, anouther prius and there were a lot of free spaces in that lot.

A tesla model 3 in Austin. Both Prii were outside the mexican american cultural center that is great parking for a bar district down town and the running trail, both of which often have no spots so it serves as overflow for that at times there aren't events there. There were other not charger spots but of the 4 chargers 3 had plug-ins and 1 a prius. The camry was in a pretty full grocery store parking lot. I'm guessing the driver just wanted to park close and stop circling.

The car has 310 miles of range and my typical day is less than 40, so I've never had less than 100 miles before charging at home.
