I'M GETTING NEW TIRES INSTALLED,WHAT DO I TELL THE INSTALLER REF. THE Tire Presure Monitoring System SO HE DOES NOT DAMAGE IT?

IS THERE SOMETHING DIFFERENT ABOUT INSTALLING TIRES ON A PRIUS RIM WITH Tire Presure Monitoring System?

Just tell the installer it has TPMS sensors (they're on the valve stems). He will know how to avoid damaging them. If he doesn't go elsewhere. TPMS is very common now.

The installation is the same. The installer just has to avoid hitting them when he places the tire on the rim. They usually just start the tire on the opposite side. It's the starting place where the tire bead almost touches the inside centre of the wheel during installation.
