I'm going to Japan! (Can I buy any hard-to-get Prius related stuff there?)

    I'm going to Japan this year and just wondering if there are any parts or accessories I can get there that could fit in luggage that is hard to get here in the US? This doesn't even have to be a part for the car, but it could be things as simple as keychains or key fob cases and whatnot.

    I know lots of customization-oriented Prius owners on here have hired buyers in Japan to get them TRD parts... Maybe you can visit the TRD shop and go shopping for a bunch of us? Of course you might want to figure out all the import rules first.

    i would want carbon fiber mirror covers. i know a few others that would want them too. And I really want jdm "toyota" window visors - the ones with screws.

    oh nice!! I have about 9000 Yen left over from my trip. might have to look at cashing in somewhere.

    as far as stuff goes, Japan does have a lot of uniquely Japanese stuff you cant get here. lots of video game characters but not sure about car parts. but either way, take a lot of pix!
