    any info on how we know the OP linked article is a graphene success, and not just a claim to drive up investor interest?

    Lots of work on graphene anodes for Lithium based batteries. One of many but they still have to produce in volume. You'll have to wait about 3 years to see any results. And they have to get the cost down a lot. Graphene is rather expensive to produce because of the specialized way it is made. No real high volume manufacturing for graphene yet.
