Would love to get more feedback on how the Gen 3 handles cross winds. Early reviews says there's a great deal of improvement over the G2. I hope so.

It would be nice ... I have to think just having the 17" low profile wheels/tires would help if that were the only thing to change.

Bought a 2011 Gen III Prius a year ago. So after 1 year of driving, I have to say that the cross wind handling of this car is amazing. Never had anything like this before. I don't fight the wheel at all, very rare once in a while I feel a little wind pushing my car, but it is rare. One day I didn't know it was windy at all, got out of the car, thought I was going to fall over. I noticed nothing at all while I was driving.

Amazing, not sure how they did this

A major factor may be the tires. My 2004 came with el-cheapo Goodyear Integrity tires. After a scary cross wind episode on a road trip, I had them replaced with Michelin HydroEdge and no more scary cross winds. My 2013 PiP came with better tires and no problem.
