    Just an FYI - if I go missing in the immediate future, everything is probably all right - I'll be playing Halo 2 for an indeterminate amount of time once it's released tonight at 12:01am.

    You'll be envious to learn that my roomate got to go to a special event here in DC that was by invite only, where he not only one a copy of Halo 2 to arrive overnight, but he also won a t-shirt that says "go earth" on the front in blue letters. I uh, feel a cold coming on, do not know if I'll be able to make it into work...cough cough...oh and those calendars might be late... just kidding! On the calendars anyways. :) I'm still gang-bangin' with GTA and now this. Then Metroid Prime 2 next week. Ugh, the rush of the xmas games.

    Danny, shouldn't you be leaving for the store about now? You'll want to be close to the front of the line. I imagine there are already people parked at the door if this game is going to be so much in demand.

    i doubt it... GTA was a sell out first day on the shelves. i know many who didnt get a copy if they didnt pre order one...like me WAAHH!!

    Whew! Don't worry everyone, I'll be able to start saving the world tonight after midnight. I stopped by GameStop on my lunch break and payed for my order of Halo 2. Apparently if you pay for it fully then you don't have to stand in line and wait.

    The guys at GameStop are expecting to be there till at least 2:30am tonight. Hopefully taking turns in the back playing.
