    so they actually appraise parts of a property? Like, only basement, in your case?

    15 months after I moved in, my street address still doesn't show up on lots of maps and this valuator. I had to reference a similar house up the street.

    Not brave enough to ask the people who are selling their houses around me if they are getting these prices...

    Thanks, I came across it in the local newspaper last week...

    Yeah, that's the fun part (checking out homes of people you know)! I must've looked up 20 homes already (only about 3 couldn't be found).

    Hmmm. Mine came up "tax assessed value" only about a 1/3 of what I paid for it. I guess I must be in the bubble!

    Huh, according to their estimate I'm underpaying my property taxes by over two-thirds! :blink: I'd better let someone know what the true value is so I can pay more. :rolleyes:

    It didn't have mine listed, but my neighbors was, and the value was double what they paid a year and a half ago. I know prices in my area have gone up considerably, but I think that may be a bit off...

    I also check my parents house, and it's a lot less than it's going to be listed for next month. S0 far this site is 0 for 3.

    Any of you planning on selling a house in California and using that web site as your Market Analysis and are going to place your house on the market at the price this site says . . . GIVE ME A CALL FIRST! ;)
    Give me first right of refusal, and I just may make you an offer ten percent above your asking price . . . and you would have no Realtor fees! :)

    Of course I would probably end up flipping the house without as much as one penny worth of upgrades! I'm guessing you wouldn't be happy with me when I walk out of escrow with a check which would probably be larger than yours, because I assigned the purchase to another buyer for twenty percent more than you sold to me. :angry:

    I know of a house in my neighborhood which will be closing escrow shortly around $850,000 . . . this site says it's worth around $586,000. That's approximately a 30% mistake. OUCH!!! :huh:

    I could easily sell my house - sight unseen to the buyer - for cash, in one day, for 20% more than what this site is saying.
    This site can't match the accuracy of a Realtor in assigning a value to a piece of property. Period.

    Im not quite sure how this site works but I can assure you that a 4 bedroom home on South Main Street in Bowling Green Ohio is worth FAR more than $39,000-$43,000.... this site needs some work... its totally inaccurate!

    Wow! I could have had a HUGE house up there in Bowling Green for what I paid for mine here in Tampa...

    Yeah, this site is sketchy in its accuracy.
