i am going to be buying a 2010 in a couple of weeks. the latest deals are pretty good but it won't be by the current deadline. the dealership is of course trying to get me to buy early but i am paying off some things first and it will create my downpayment for me so i have to wait. anyone hear anything about what is going to be offered after the 5th?

I haven't heard either but I have a couple of dealers who know I'm ready to buy, and will let me know after 4/5 what they are. Of course we can probably find them online then too. I'm hoping for the 0% financing thing or something close like that.

With the sales of the Honda Insight that are exploding and overall sales of Nissan well over Toyota (in percentages for the month) i cant imagine they can lower theirs incentives.

Here in Canada we didn't get (as far as i know) the exceptional leasing deal you guys got in the US. Anyways, the incentives are due to be updated tonight here since they expire on march 31. I cant wait and i am ready to make the move tomorrow if they jazz up their promotions!

Lets hope for a 0% financing and a higher loyalty program rebate!

The 0%-36 month financing is regional. Yes in MidAtlantic, No in the SouthEast or GulfCoast.

The 2 years free maintenance has been extended to all buyers till 5/3. Make sure your dealer gives you the "premium" level... mine gave me the standard level and I'm having to email them for a reason... they didnt even know it had been extended to everyone until I sent them links with the news...

ugh, where do you check for standard versus premium? Is this listed in the dealer paperwork?

I'd like to know too. There may be no difference up to 25k miles because the first major service isn't until 30k miles for the Prius.

I posted some detail on this in the 2 yr 25,000 free maintenance thread.
In my case there was a "Toyota Auto Care Prepaid Maintenance Program Application" completed, form 3507. The form is from Toyota Financial Services and includes Customer and Vehicle information along with the specifics of the agreement.
In the center of the form is Coverage Level with a check in the Premium box (other choice is classic) Under Agreement Information it states a "5000 mile" service interval, Plan Code "S21" with "2 year" "25,000" miles.
Under Agreement Purchase Price it states $0.00.

I received a copy of this completed application form together with the rest of my purchase paperwork. The form states that I'll receive a confirmation of the coverage within 30 days at my home address.

    Hope this helps.

The question is whether premium is any different from classic for the first 25k miles for a non-SR Prius, because it's just oil/filter change, rotate tires, inspect brakes/fluids every 5,000 miles, with the exception of cleaning (NOT replacing) cabin air filter at 15,000 miles.

Only the solar roof Prius replaces the cabin air filter at 20,000 miles.

EDIT: I answered my own question through googling. Classic does not include tire rotations so that's the only difference from Premium up to 25k miles (as there's no "major maintenance" at 15k miles for the Prius).
