"Are you a woman going solo? Try a blow-up man...

LONDON (Reuters) - He fits in a car's glove box, appears at a flick of a switch and when a woman has finished using him, she can just pull the plug and he deflates..."

Hmm, I figure maybe some buyers would be using this to drive solo in carpool lanes.

I think the guy from MIB is better looking. Can it double as an air-bag?

I'd rather my wife had Otto.

He comes with a manual inflation tube, just in case.

    Blow-up man?
Nothing new here. Most governments are run by buildings full of these guys - over-inflated egos and full of hot air! ;)

    Old news.

People have already been ticketed for using this to drive the HOV lanes.

Heh, sorta reminds me of a scene from The Simpsons:

    Riviera: everybody!
    Board: [unenthused] Dr. Nick.
-- At a malpractice board hearing,
    "Twenty-Two Short Films About Springfield"

Chairman: Dr. Nick, this malpractice committee has received a few
complaints against you. [reads from clipboard] Of the 160
gravest charges, the most troubling are performing major
operations with a knife and fork from a seafood restaurant.
Riviera: But I cleaned them with my napkin.
    Chairman: Misuse of the cadavers.
Riviera: I get here earlier when I drive in the carpool lane. (Italics mine)

Tony's looks like Doug Flutie, recently-retired QB (of Boston College "hail-mary" fame).

Otto looks like a Mormon bishop.

Now, hey, I didn't start this. I merely said what others were already thinking. I'm not the only one around here with a dirty mind, am I? I could have made jokes about airheads and dummys, but the comment about a 'manual inflation tube' was just too good to ignore.

They built the first HOV lanes in Toronto last year requiring 2 occupant minimum (no Hybrid eligibility here tho <_< ), and this reminds me of a story a few months ago of a woman driving busted for driving in the HOV lane with a suspicious "child in a parka" in the car seat in the backseat. The 'child' turned out to be stuffed with clothing.

The 'child' was described as looking like Kenny from South Park.

Of the blow-up guy? The article implied that he had his own inflation device. I'm sure it would stop at the correct setting. ;)

How about the sweater I saw marketed in the UK...a long time ago in my Jr. year abroad (as opposed to ALL of my years AS a broad... :D ). It had a horizontal stripe across the chest so it would LOOK like you had your shoulder belt fastened...Seems like a lot more effort to me to put on a sweater than a seatbelt...

I thought ALL guys had their own inflation device, and I have yet to meet one who stops at the correct setting. ;) (Hi there Hyo & Jack :p )
