initialization after disconnecting 12 volt battery?

    I might embark on changing my marginal 12 volt with the Optima D51 I received. I plan to disconnect the 12 volt just for good measure instead of continuing to power the car w/another 12 volt source. (I don't care about losing my radio memories, having the trip odo and MFD reset.)

    Other the power window initialization, is there anything that needs reinitialization?

    You will have to turn off the reverse beeper and/or the seatbelt beeper if you have turned those off previously. You will lose your mileage info from the MFD, but strangely enough it appears to keep the location(s) saved in the Nav.
