Yeah..that's going to give me quotes from the dealers in my area..something around invoice. What I'm wondering is if anyone out there knows what the incentives are that the factory directly gives to the dealers for sales... It's an elusive #, but I'm hoping someone out there has some "insider" information. Thanks! :)

Pick a notional value for invoice and subtract 1500.
There might be a dealer in your area that will bite...and maybe not.

Priuses are probably more in demand in Washington (especially B-ham) that they are in some parts of the 'rust belt', where people are more concerned with making their mortgage payments than they are with the rising price of their Caramel Macchiatos.
I've seen prices for new G3-IIs from some dealerships in Ohio below $20,000. I'd be willing to bet that a dealer on the left coast will stick closer to $22k for the same model, since gas (and real estate, and everything else...) is more expensive in your area, and they'll have to sell the car for more $$ to keep their doors open.
The math gets fuzzier when you up-option a car, since the profit margin for factory installed options is somewhat higher.
Pick your model, pick an invoice number, hack 1500 off, and roll the dice.

Get them to throw in a third keyfob. :)

    Good Luck!!!
Let us know how you do!!
