Insurance costs- highest in the USA!

    Here in NJ we are about the highest cost of car insurance.
    Today in the Star Ledger there was an article considering "pay per mile" insurance.

    However, I don't see this as alievating the BIG problem of uninsured drivers. I thought I had heard something that you folks in CA had something "pay at pump" . any truth?

    At the 2cent per mile mark, my insurance goes up by about 16 bucks a month. At the 10 cent per mile rate, my insurance goes up by 273 per month. I'm against this plan.. :)
