Insurance Question

    so my wife got the pc2 summer rain yesterday, while adding the prius to our insurance, I noticed GEICO has the Mechanical Breakdown Insurance 7yr/100k mi for $60/6mos with $250 deductible for the pc2. Should I add it to my policy? I can only add the MBI before 15 months with less than 15,000 mi. TIA

    NO put the money you save in the bank. You should only buy insurance to cover a loss that you can't cover by cash on hand or by use of a credit card.

    Granted, I don't know that much, but I would be concerned it wouldn't cover all the hybrid-y Toyota goodness. I'd say either save an amount of money up each month in savings or buy a Toyota extended warranty.
