Does anyone know if the IPA can parallel park the car to the left side (such as on a one way street)? I'm great at parallel parking normally (i.e., to the right side), but am lousy at parallel parking to the left side on a one way street for some reason. If it could park to the left, then that is a feature I would find very valuable.

Great question. If the sensors are on the left side of the car as well then it should work. Has anyone seen if the sensors are on both sides of the car ?

I'm thinking since there are sensors on both sides of the car it works either side. Same thing for back in parking, the spot can be on the left or right...

The big question I've had regarding the Intelligent Parking is "How small a space can it park the Prius into?" or "How many feet above the length of the Prius does it need?"

In the videos I've seen they're always parking the car into a space that looks to be 6 - 8 feet longer than the Prius.

For me, if it can't park the Prius into a space that's only 2 feet longer than the car, then I have no use for it.

Yep you can park on both sides. Just press the soft button to switch sides.
