2007 with 40K and recently while driving I get a double beep warning. There are no associated warning lights with the beeps. There is no common indicator with fuel, seat belts, open doors. It sometimes happens at highway speeds and sometimes sitting at a light.
The beeps are the regular vehicle indicator sounds and does not happen all the time, sometimes does not happen for weeks.

The vehicle is running great with very good mileage 50+.

    Any ideas?

You started carrying the fob in some new place or started carrying other electronics or a mass of metal near the fob, and the car sometimes cannot sense the fob.

I don't recall whether the fob battery is used in this situation, but what the hey... Test the fob battery by pressing any button on the fob. You don't have to be near the car. If you do not see a red LED flash on it then its battery is dying.
