    I'm new here, and I just wanted to introduce myself!

    I do not currently own a Prius, but so far lurking on this site has helped me do a lot of research! I plan to buy one, but I am waiting for the next generation to come out (hopefully with plug-in functionality), and I am hoping that my current car will last until then!

    So I will be looking on here regularly for any news and rumors about the next Prius.

    Welcome to PriusChat RebelScum. I'm glad that you have gathered a lot of information. You might be waiting for about a year and a half, as the "new" model is supposedly going to be a 2010, with a sale date of 3rd quarter of 2009, I got that information from other threads so don't take it as the gospel. Also I have ready the the plug-in capability won't be on the new models at first, but later on in the product life... got to love rumors.
