    Hi Guys,

Just wanted to show-off my custom iPhone and iPad integration in the new(Gen III) Prius.

A custom mount was built in order to slide the iPad into.

The audio system was moved under the passenger seat in order to make place and attach the mount firmly into that spot.

The iPhone and iPad are both connected to the audio system with a switch to toggle between them so music can be heard from either one.

The iPhone is mounted via a TomTom car kit which was attached to the front cup holder with a custom build. (the cup holder lid was taken out)
The TomTom car kit has a speaker unit itself so I can hear music from the iPad and speak via the iPhone at the same time.

One last thing to note, nothing was broken or damaged in the installation in order to be able to go back to stock easily.

    Enjoy,
    --Liron Meduel.

Looks nice, but even with that cover over it, someone may break in and steal the iPad. Even if you remove the iPad, just having the mount there will cause someone to break in and look around inside in hopes you are hiding the iPad somewhere such as under the seat.

This is why you should not leave a GPS mount in view even if you take the GPS with you.
It doesn't matter if you live in a "safe" area with a garage and security because you are going to have to drive the car to other public places where thieves are on the lookout for things like that.

I would probably wreck within the first day of having that. However, it is rather awesome. Kudos to your ingenuity!
