iPod Adapter Kit?

    I just bought a new Prius and it had the Toyota iPod Adapter Kit installed already. What can people tell me about it? I've searched for reviews on here, but I can't tell if they are the Toyota installed kit or aftermarket ones?

    Welcome to Prius chat! If you search the forum, one thing you will learn is that there are two very different products that Toyota dealers install. One is the genuine Toyota part which most people seem very happy with that integrates well with with the built in display unit (MFD), The other version is an extremely dumbed down version that does not integrate well at all. The first thing we need to know is which of these products was preinstalled.
