I have a standard 2002 Prius and want to be able to play podcasts and music from my iPod via the car radio/speaker system.

I don't need to control the iPod from the display screen or anything fancy like that.

I've spent a few hours searching with Google and now on this forum (which seems to to have lots of good stuff), but have been unable to find what I need as yet.

Like Linda L, who posted a similar query over a year ago
(see thread entitled "IPod/Sirius Questions - 2002 Prius")
most of what I've found seems relevant to more recent technology.

There was a good thread about stuff that works with the Prius, but the only postings are from 2004 and none answered my query.

A local car stereo shop says it will cost over $300.

My local Best Buy Geek Squad says they've done this in the past for about $100 (parts and labor), for a Dynex or Metra FM aerial system, but currently are out of stock for that part SKU6819213

Can anyone provide any better pointers?

    Thanks.
