So we've shared helpful tips and information about services and products that we've stumbled upon.

Today I would like to tell you all about iPodJuice.com. You see, a little more than three years ago I bought my wife a pink iPod Mini. I even had it laser inscribed. But alas, three years of use the battery wouldn't hold a charge to last a single song.

If you've every looked into getting a new battery for your iPod, you've certainly discovered a truth: Apple doesn't actually replace the battery in your iPod, they give you a refurbished iPod.
That simply would not do so I kept looking. It turns out that iPodJuice.com will sell you a new battery and provide the instructions and tools required to replace the Apple battery.

After about fifteen minutes, I had replaced the battery. Sure I was nervous while I was doing it. Honestly, when I was putting the guts back into the case they just didn't want to go without a fight and I was really freaking out. But in the end, all was well. She's listened to the iPod now and complained that the battery indicator doesn't diminish like it used to. :)
