    "Iranians were given only two hours' notice of the move that limits private drivers to 100 litres of fuel a month."

    "Despite its huge energy reserves, Iran lacks refining capacity and it imports about 40% of its petrol."

    Well that's just weird. I doubt there are any Iranian Prius drivers participating in those riots though because with a conservative estimate, they could still drive about 40 miles/day, every day of the month in a Prius on 100 litres.
