My wife has 2007 and a Verzion phone. She is unable to put numbers into phone book of the car and I'm not very electronically inclined, any help will be greatly appreciated.

It depends on what type of phone she has. Does the phone have Bluetooth?

I have a Motorola RZR w/Bluetooth. It has a feature that looks for a blue tooth enabled device. That's how I got the wireless earpiece/microphone to hook up to the phone. I have to make sure that the device is on in order for the phone to track it down.

Does the LG have such a feature?

She should be able to transfer one phonebook entry at a time to the handsfree system (as opposed to the complete contact list in one step).
