I have the AM/SAT button. I was attempting to retrieve the radio ID as instructed in the manual, but when I push the AM/SAT button, it stays on AM. Does this mean that I am not equipped for satellite?

    Any help is appreciated!
    Thanks.

No, a 2010 II had no XM in it.

So Toyota just left the SAT button on to tease me? That wasn't very nice...

I bought the car used and saw the SAT button and "assumed" it was available. My bad.

    Thanks.

You may be able to add Sat radio. A friend of mine has a Scion that had a similar setup. He had to buy an adaptor (for lack of a better word) from Toyota to enable it. I'll ask for more details next time I see him.

I bought a 2010 Prius II new; and added aftermarket SAT radio unit at Best Buy. Paid about $79 for the unit, and $75 for Best Buy guys to install it for me. They wired into the buttons on the radio, no visible wires. And the small SAT receiver unit was mounted in the cubby window on driver's side of dash. Worked great.
