    british open round three results are in. i thought mcilroy might move up on moving day. unfortunately, he moved down. fellow northern irelander, 43 year old darren clarke took the lead. does he have the wheels for one more day? or can americans dustin johnson or ricky fowler pull it off. should be an exciting final round!

    Dustin Johnson and Ricky Fowler were impressive. Clarke's ball striking was too good, but he missed too many short birdie putts, otherwise he would've been leading by a lot more.

    It was weird seeing McIlroy take a provisional on the 14th tee.

    Should be a great final round, with a bunch of good players only five shots back. Anything can happen.

    Mickelson sure made it interesting for a while. But Clarke was too solid. His eagle putt after Phil missed an easy par sealed the deal. A deserved win for an experienced old hand.
