Is the driver side mirror too big or are people just a-holes?

Roughly three months into my ownership of the Prius (Purchased July 09), a guy in a Honda Accord decided to turn into my car even though I was next to him. I was able to minimize the damage by squeezing myself near the curb, we ended up banging mirrors. The end result was a small scratch on my mirror.

Fast forward to today in NYC. I was sitting at a light waiting for the light to turn green. Some moron rode a bike and got trapped between my car and a parked car. Instead of waiting, the guy decided to slowly squeeze himself around our cars. He ended up touching my mirror lightly. Before I could do anything, the stupid bi5ch he was with wacked my mirror hard. She hit it so hard that it bent backwards (luckily the Prius one is movable). I tried to stop the two a$$holes, but they were able to squeeze themselves through traffic and got away. I was in so much shocked that I couldn't throw crap at them before they got away. I don't get why these guys cant wait a minute or ask me to move over for them. My mirror got wacked three times in one year, what are the odds of that. I swear it is the Prius curse.
