Is there a forum section devoted to recalls? Short of that, what would be the best way for me to search for such information? My first attempts weren't very useful....

No there's not, but we need one...probably would be good to create a seperate area in the Knowledge Base area. Danny will be back full-time after Christmas so let's bump this up to the top at that time. The prior person asking where they could find a list of recalls/TSBs elicited 2 responses...the first listed every Toyota TSB for every model they make. The second listed only actual 'recalls' (safety related issues that have to be filed with the NHTSB). None list those specifically for the Prius.

It would be a good addition and much easier to reference people to when they came with an issue.

That's the one I mentioned that covers all Toyota vehicles...very cumbersome to try to find the Prius specific ones in there. It would be a lot better if we had a specific forum...1G TSBs and one for 2G TSBs.

I went through the AllData links (thanks!), the NHTSA recall search engine and the NHTSA TSB search engine and pulled out all the Prius info listed. AllData doesn't really have them all, but it's a good start.
