Is this a Pack of Prii or a Pride of Prii???

    I went to get my XM Radio installed by Jon of Factory Interactive on Sunday. :) Smile

    I knew I had found the right place when I found 2 other Seaside's there!! B)

    When the radio was in (FABULOUS install job!!), we lined all 3 of 'em up.

    There is an '04, an '05 and an '06!!

    Pride was my vote for the Prii as well - though I liked the 'battery' or 'herd' of hybrids in general

    Wow -- those photos remind me of what a "visit" from the Sopranos look be like -- if the price of gas goes over $5 a gallon. :)

    It's a Pride! And how random yet cool is it that first of all there were 2 other Priuses there, and secondly that they were also Seaside!!

    How's the XM working? Is it integrated with the MFD or is it an obvious aftermarket add-on?? I'm looking to get XM installed on my Prius (whenever it arrives!) but don't want it to look all aftermarket-y. I prefer it to look like my husband's XM that came with his Accord-all part of the MFD w/no external parts or wires to deal with other than the antennae.

    Jen - I don't know where you have your order in, but I got mine form RSM Toyota, and the Sirius install is PERFECT. The triangular antennae is mounted above my rearview mirror on the INSIDE of the windshield... sweet!

    LOL - you're in Los Al.... I'm at work behind the duck pond in Anaheim...

    I heard someone suggest "Fleet" as that's the normal term for cars.

    Well, I disagree as I don't consider the Prius as normal. :)

    I use "Pride" and "Battery" myself. Maybe we should do a poll.

    The XM is working absolutely wonderfully - it is fully integrated. If I hadn't seen him install it, I wouldn't know where it is. ;)

    I really didn't want to try and do it myself - I am not ready to try disassembling Lil Blu yet!! :huh:

    All I have to show it is there is a small square box antenna (about 3x3) on the roof. :)

    I get the Sat 1, Sat 2 and Sat3 on the display and can get to them with voice command. :)

    The text display shows 10 characters each for the artist and titile, maybe they will provide an MFD update at some point so that it displays more, but it is enough to know who it is and the name of the cut.

    I ordered my Prius thru Longo Toyota in El Monte. It should be here any day now, just awaiting THE phone call. Rather anxiously sometimes. :)

    Wow, that's fantastic! I was worried about having an additional screen (like an aftermarket navigation device) or extra wires cluttering up the dash area. This is something I am definitely getting once my car is in. Thanks for the reply! :D

    I don't know about Pride, Fleet, Pod, or whatever, but Toyota has said that the plural of "Prius" is "Prius".
