Issue with Toyota iPod Interface...

    Greetings All,

    My new Prius was equiped with the iPod interface kit from Toyota and I am having some issues with it. When an iPod is connected the audio system begins shuffling the device and playing the first 10 seconds of each song. No matter what buttons we press (or hold) this mode cannot be stopped. We've tried this with two iPhone 3Gs and an iPod Nano and always get the same result.

    From what I've read this interface is supposed to take over the XM controls, however, ours appears to try and take over the CD controls (it switches to CD mode when the iPod is connected).

    My current guess is the dealer installed the device incorrectly, but I'm not ruling out user-error yet ;)

    Anyone have ideas/similar experiences?
