It's finally here, our 08 package #5

2008 Non-Touring Package #5, Black Exterior, Dark Grey Interior. It's too bad I can't drive it. I was in a bad car accident; the other driver crossed the highway I was travelling down and I t-boned their van at about 50 mph. I shattered my tibia and fibula and wont be able to drive/walk for awhile.

Sorry for that.

It was fun to try and teach my wife how to pulse and glide on the way home. I could concentrate on the MFD and tell her what to do. We averaged 54.6 mpg on the 36 mile journey home. I haven't even adjusted the tire pressure yet.

I just wanted to say thanks to the forum and its members for turning my thought of getting a Prius into actually buying one. I know its a reliable car, but to see such a support base really made me feel confident in my decision.

Now for the goodies that I already have. I had nothing to do during the 3 week wait for our car but buy stuff.
