    It happens every year, so I don't know why it surprises me, but here we go again. It's snowing hard, with strong winds and dark skies. I suppose there is some chance that winter is on its way.

    Winter? Nah, it's just that funky Lake Effect you get up there. Seen it all over the Weather Channel the last 3 days. ;)

    But he lives in Winterpeg, and is probably snowed in by now, too. Besides, he'd have to catch me first. :)
    And our 6 month monsoon season is due to start anytime, so soon it'll be your turn to laugh at me. ;)

    Same thing here. Now all we have is rain. Days and days and days of rain. This time of year we might not see the sun again until February, when it gets too cold for clouds.

    Bill Cosby used to do a routine about the rain in the Pacific Northwest. He described people panicked by the appearance of the sun, and going to the beach to get a "rain tan".

    One of the few joys of living in San Diego. 1.5 hours to the desert, 2 hours to LA, 45 minutes to the mountains for snow, 10 to the beach, and it is currently 81 degrees at 10:01AM...and sunny.:rockon:

    that sucks Qbee42 ... I have an extra snowbrush do you want to borrow it? If you keep the snow over there and away from here then you can have both;)
