I was wondering if anyone had knows the input voltage limit for the JBL amp (2004 ITech model). I have read the the factory head unit sends 2v, but I am wanting to connect an aftermarket head unit via the RCA outs with are 5volts.

Just wondering if anyone knows if 5 volts is too much?

    Thanks :)

I would think 5 would be way too hot a level, you could always pad the output to achieve the desired voltage with some resistors.
