    Perhaps Senator Joe Biden was right, after all.

    How about if he acts like he is human, and we forget about black and white.

    Is Jackson saying it is OK to respond to an offensive act with violence?

    I think he probably meant to say that he was acting like all the "white" candidates and not doing anything to bring attention to the Jenna6 issue.

    I totally agree with you on that. Unfortunately, Jesse and Al (Sharpton) will never let that happen. There's money in being a victim. Every time something like this happens, one or both of them will show up on TV and talk about how badly the victim (almost always black) was treated and charge racism. Some people feel like they are looking out for them and donate money to their respective organizations. All they do is race bait.

    Al cause Imus to be fired even though he apologized in person. Al and Jesse never apologized to the Duke lacrosse team. What's up with that?

    Yup. Jesse Jackson also reiterated his endorsement of Obama. It's important, in our sound-bite culture not to spin what Jesse Jackson said.

    Of all the people, Jesse and his like are the biggest racists in this country hands down. As far as I am concerned, as long as people follow those of his kind, there will always be strife among races. The black people need to pull up their boot straps and rise above his level, only then will crap like this end.

    Man Im really suprised that people still listen to Jessie & Al, everyone knows they are the loudest racists on the planet... These two love to spread lies and incite the black community to acts of violence, only to come back and bring peace into the situation. Thus making them selves look like the heros.. :rolleyes:

    I guess you could say they are the Democratic equivelent to Ann Coultler ;)

    Here's the only thorough site I found about the hiring of Chicago's new Police Superintendent. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn41...15/ai_n12517246

    I didn't track the story from beginning to end, but there was no avoiding the news that Jesse was protesting that Mayor Daley and the appointment committee did not select an African American individual for the position. Mayor Daley's response was quick and to the point [paraphrase]: "we selected the best candidate for the position; if Reverend Jackson has taken offense to the color of his skin, that's his problem, not ours."

    And let's not forget the story in Decatur, IL where six students were caught on multiple videos fighting in the stands at a football game, spilling over other spectators, causing injuries and general havoc. Of course, these students were expelled for fighting on school proerty. The catch? They were black and here come Jesse to the rescue: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m105...116/ai_58243446

    The upper-middle class white girls in suburban Chicago caught on film hazing freshmen girls? <cue the crickets> But Jesse, there are being charged as criminals. <crickets> And they are being suspended. <crickets> But. But.... Jesse?. . .

    First: IT's too late, Bill Clinton was the first black president;

    Second: Jesse Jackson does no believes black have the ability to act violently. As any action they take is in response to a white racisit act, so iss defense, not violence.
