Judging distance when parking

    I just bought an 07 Prius and am having a problem when parking; I can't judge my distance worth a toot since I can't use any of my hood as a reference. I am always afraid I am going to hit the vehicle next to me or run into the curb in front of me. Anyone have any tricks, or possibly any experience with the retractable corner pole markers from Sigma Automotive? The link is posted below:

    No problem. Just attach something like shown in the attached picture to your front licence plate and you'll have no problem.[attachmentid=6734][attachmentid=6735]

    Here's another one. Buy a Hirschmann auto extend aerial, or two. They can be mounted on either corners of the bumper to extend upward ala Mercedes S-Class. Shouldn't look ugly either. They retract to allmost nothing.
