Jumpstart car up front

    So I was going to test the voltage of my 12v battery up front at the jumpstart terminals (girlfriend's 2009 has them) but I don't see any under the hood on my 2011. Did Toyota do away with these on gen 3 ???

    Look at the under hood fuse panel at the drive side inner fender area. Unlatch and remove cover. You will see a little red cover at the back (rear) of the fuse array that unclips and reveals the positive battery terminal jumper blade. Use whatever ground on the engine block for the negative.

    In this picture, the red cover at the back of the fuse box can be seen in the lower right corner of the picture (barely):

    FYI, the two terminals just in front of the red covered Jumpstart terminal, the ones with the red wires attached in my picture, are also positive terminals that are always energized +12v as well.
