    Hey guys,

Just bought a brand new 2015 prius 2. I live in SoCal and got it for 19,200 plus ttl. Also bought the Premium Maintenance for 650. This is the 1st new car I've ever purchased.

Thanks for all the info you guys posted, I read a lot of it!

Did not buy the warranty bc I read here that some other plans are better and less expensive. Any recommendations?

Will be tinting it and getting a new head unit and speakers soon. Any recommendations on these?

Any advice will be much appreciated!

I hope the 650 is included in the $19,200 price because the prius 2 are going for $18,000 in so cal.

    Btw, congrats on your purchase.

I was debating on buying a 2015 prius 2 or a used 2012 blizzard white prius plug in with 37k miles for $14,xxx. I decided on the used 2012.

I was waiting on the 2015 incentives to increase but got tired of waiting.

I don't even know if i made the right decision on my purchase.

Nope I paid 19200 plus 650. didnt ask here bc I didn't want to bug anyone with such a common question. First dealer I went to I offered 18,500 and they shot me down.

I signed a 3-day 150 mile money-back paper. I could def use that $1200 bucks. i guess I'll try and get some quotes and get that price down or at least get them to throw in the extended warranty.

I got tired of waiting too...

The car is rock solid, forget the warranty, put the $1200 dollars in the bank and I bet that over the course of 100k miles, using that money for repairs, you will still have money left.
